Second of it’s collection, “Beauty and the Feast”, this alluring image of Madonna eating a bowl of pasta with her hands celebrates sensualtiy, femininity, and the indulgence of a tasty carbohydrate.  Added bold, bright textured florals and Art Nouveau swirls with a colorful butterfly perched on the fork give it a more daring and ethereal feel. 
 
This is a mixed media piece I enjoyed making. Materials used: acrylic paint, copper leaf foil, spray paint, thick gel medium, and oil pastels.
